Cookie Policy

Last updated 16 September 2026. Effective 16 September 2026. This policy is for Uniq Games Studio's website and the Monster Trip app.

This page explains the cookies, local storage and similar technologies Uniq Games Studio uses. On a phone those technologies are usually software development kits (SDKs) rather than browser cookies, but they store identifiers on the device in the same way, so they belong here.

Personal data collected through these technologies is handled under our Privacy Policy. You can change the choices that are actually available on the Privacy preferences page, and inside the game at Settings → Terms & Privacy.

1. This website

uniqgames.net sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. The site has no advertising, no analytics pixels and no third-party tags that follow you to other sites.

NamePurposeTypeHow long
uniqgames.privacy-preferences Remembers the choices you save on the Privacy preferences page, on this browser only. First-party local storage. Never sent to our servers. Until you clear site data for uniqgames.net.

Your browser also requests a web font from a font service. That request includes your IP address, which the font service sees in order to deliver the file. It is not a cookie we set, and the rest of the page does not call any other third-party origin.

If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, they will default to off, appear in the table above, and require a choice on Privacy preferences before they run.

2. Monster Trip (the app)

The game does not show ads and does not use advertising or attribution SDKs. It does not read IDFA or GAID for advertising. The SDKs below are there so the game can sign you in, save progress, report crashes, understand which levels are broken, and ship configuration without a store update.

TechnologyPurposeOperatorTypical data
Firebase Authentication Creates the anonymous account on first launch, and links Google, Apple or Facebook if you choose Save your progress. Google LLC (processor for Uniq Games Studio) Account ID; if you link an account, the identifier and any name or email that provider releases.
Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions Stores progress, leaderboard entries and team data, and runs server-side game logic. Google LLC Progress, gold, lives, social features tied to your account ID.
Firebase Crashlytics Crash reports so we can fix faults. Google LLC Device model, OS, app version, stack traces and the state of the app at the crash.
Google Analytics for Firebase Product analytics: which levels start, complete or fail, and similar in-game events, so we can rebalance the game. Google LLC App-instance identifier, session and event data, coarse country or region. Not used to show ads.
Firebase Remote Config Feature flags and configuration without shipping a new build. Google LLC App-instance identifier and the config values delivered to the device.
On-device settings Music, sound, haptics, notification and parental-control choices, including the PIN. First-party, on your device Stays on the device. The parental PIN and recovery email are not uploaded to our servers.

Google's own description of Firebase data practices is at firebase.google.com/support/privacy. Apple, Google and Meta apply their own policies to their sign-in sheets if you use them.

3. How you can manage this

  • This website: Privacy preferences, or clear uniqgames.net site data in your browser. The pages keep working without the local-storage entry.
  • The game: Settings → Terms & Privacy for the privacy pages and account deletion; Settings for notifications; Settings → Parental Control for purchases and social features.
  • Device analytics: iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. Android: the Google settings on the device, including ads and usage & diagnostics.
  • Deleting the app removes SDK data stored on that device. It does not delete the cloud account; use Delete Account for that.
