About us

Uniq Games is an independent mobile game studio. We are small on purpose, and we would like to stay that way for as long as it keeps the games good.

Our objective

Combine technology and craft into games played for years

Casual puzzle games are often treated as a numbers exercise. We think that is a mistake. The genre rewards feel above almost everything else — the weight of a tap, the timing of a reward, the exact moment a level stops being frustrating and becomes satisfying. Those things are craft, and craft takes time.

So we build one game at a time, own every discipline in-house, and refuse to ship a feature we would skip past ourselves.

How we work

Four things we hold to

Play it every day

The current build gets played daily, on a real phone, on a real commute. Design documents describe intentions; playing describes reality. When the two disagree, playing wins.

Characters before systems

We start with who lives in the world. The monsters existed before the boosters did, and most of the game's best mechanics came from asking what those three would plausibly build next.

Difficulty you can trust

Levels are hand-checked one at a time. A hard level should be hard because it is well designed, never because it was quietly tuned to sell a booster.

No dark patterns

No fake timers, no manufactured urgency, no burying the exit. Parental controls and a delete-account button that actually works are part of the product, not a compliance checkbox.

What we are building

Monster Trip

Our first title is a colour-sort puzzle game with hundreds of hand-checked levels, six themed areas, weekly leaderboards and teams. It is in production now for iOS and Android.
